Wonderful book filled with great and easy recipes for healthy living! I purchased this book after watching the Jazzy Vegetarian on TV. She was making a pasta dish with sun dried tomatoes and broccoli. I've been making an effort to eat healthier and incorporate more veggies into my diet. I was initially worried about sacrificing flavor, but this book is filled with delicious recipes that are easy to make (trust me- I'm not a good cook) and don't involve any odd ingredients (because I hate searching for that one unique ingredient only to find that I won't use it for another 3 months). I highly recommend this recipe book!Product details

Jazzy Vegetarian eBook Laura Theodore Reviews
I loved the simple and tasty recipes from Laura's television show and really wanted her recipes in a permanent book form. If she is using a basic Ingredient that I already like I know her recipe will be excellent. I am busy and when I cook I want something that I can prepare without a lot of fuss from ingredients in my pantry or refrigerator. I don't want to have to search out something exotic that may be a failure. I can rely on the Jazzy Vegetarian.
I was surprised at how simple it could be to cook this way. Ingredients in her books are easy to find. Every recipe I have tried is absolutely wonderful! I have tried other vegetarian cookbooks in the past, and none can compare with the Jazzy Vegetarian. I will be donating the other cookbooks! I have adopted a healthier lifestyle of eating and exercise, and this book will help me keep on track! Thank you Jazzy Vegetarian!
The Jazzy Vegetarian has many great reasons to purchase Laura Theodore uses local seasonal ingredients in her creative dishes; the directions are easy to follow and she includes time-saving tips along the way. Along with the recipes are beautiful pictures of how the dishes are presented at table - appealing to one's eyes, as well as all the other senses. The Jazzy Vegetarian is the perfect gift for your vegetarian and VEGAN friends.
I must state my disclaimer first, I am not a vegan or vegetarin, and I don't plan on becoming one. I saw the Jazzy Chef TV's Create. I was rather in pressed with the way she prepared her meals, so I order the book. It isn't very thick, but the layout to ME is beautiful and colorful. I usually read a receip first before I try to make it, it doesn't really matter because these receips aren't complex by a long shot. While getting ready for work this morning, I made the Quinoa with raisin, cranberries and cinnamon. I took a cup full to work... luv it. I look forward to making some additional receips at which time I will revise this review.
This cookbook is great for one that is looking for simple quick recipes. I was looking for more advance recipes, thus the 4 stars.
Each recipe is easy to read, easy to make and good tasting. Great for someone on the go with not a lot of time to cook, but still wanting health meals.
I don't know about you, but for me, just the word "vegan" makes me think "deprivation", and, full disclosure, I'm not ready to give up all meat or my eggs and dairy products just yet. But Theodore's down-to-earth vegan recipes for hearty dishes and desserts--everything from lasagna rolls to upside-down apple cake--are inspiring me to broaden my culinary horizons. After listening to her radio shows and watching the NJ Network "Jazzy Vegetarian" public television show, I've concluded that Laura Theodore may just be the vegan Rachel Ray, with her infectious enthusiasm and skilled but accessible recipes that anyone can make and enjoy. I've given this book to several friends and think it's the perfect healthful gift!
This book is one of my favorite cookbooks. What I like about her recipes is that they use wholesome, easy to find ingredients. I can get everything in my local supermarket in the Midwest. The food is delicious and easy to prepare. Highest recommendation for both vegans and those wanting to add plant based food to their diet.
